The company released Disney Infinity trailer and said that the game will be released this June. Disney Infinity will be available for all devices and will include actual figurines that are part of the gameplay. The character figures are placed on a special pad that "teleports" them in the game.
The game will incorporate all popular characters from Disney's movies and will enable the players to explore all worlds that their loved characters inhabit. The different worlds are more like sets that the gamer can choose from. That's the reason the creators of the game call it "toy box" that is more like a platform featuring various games and characters that can interact occasionally. The first sets that we will see when the game is released are from the movies Monsters University, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Incredibles. In the future the company will also add new sets and characters. The environments are separated from each other and the design stays true to the original franchises. However, the "toy box" provides the player with tools that can merge the different worlds.
